Intransigent Love Story

The Situation:

She will not change.
I will not change.
Our ids are off frolicking in personal reality.
Our superegos refuse to compromise and are going on vacation.
Our egos refuse to get involved.

The outcome:

The self will not change.
The alternative will not listen.
The objective will not reason.
The subjective does not believe.

Therefore, we are:

Adamant.
Anchored.
Unyielding.
Intransigent.
