After the unbelievable success of Dan Brown's DaVinci Code, it seems like Christians are willing to read just about any book about religion, even those that raise doubts about standard teachings. Take Elizabeth Cunningham, author of a new novel titled "Magdalen Rising." In an article she wrote titled "Fact, Fiction & Truth: The Perils and Joys of Writing Religious Fiction," she describes how angry audiences get at her for how she portrays Biblical figures in her novels (www.passionofmarymagdalen.com). Are her books selling to those who want to be outraged?
