I like it. Helps us discover more good writers. Maybe they should double the number of finalists again. There has to be more than ten great books published every year.
: The National Book Award committee has announced that they are going to double the number of finalists (from five to ten). I like that idea. That way, instead of just helping the "usual suspects" sell more books, the also-rans may finally get some notice.
