The Republican Party has always gone after the hate vote. But it turns out that, for much of the Republican base, the mainstream Republican candidates are too "soft on hate." The hate voters (usually non-voters) have been waiting for a "real" Republican candidate, someone who hates everybody who's not like them and isn't afraid to say it out loud.
