The best book on the 2016 presidential election (by far) is "From Washington and Adams to Trump and Hillary." It not only describes the 2016 presidential election (in detail) but goes through ALL the prior presidential elections to show how we got here. Taught me a lot about how and why the Electoral College was created and how we got into this mess. Highly recommended reading!
